The Serbs are said to have attacked and kidnapped a Canadian businessman in an elite neighborhood

A shocking incident unfolded in Madrid on Tuesday, occurring within one of the city’s wealthiest districts. A Canadian businessman, residing primarily on the Mediterranean island of Majorca, became the target of a dangerous attempt at abduction. Croatian media reports detail the event.

The businessman was in the Spanish capital to pursue business ventures connected to cryptocurrencies. It’s believed a group of three individuals meticulously planned the assault, securing a white van and utilizing false registration plates. Witnesses observed the attackers shadowing the Canadian, carefully orchestrating their actions.

The attack itself transpired on a city street, where the businessman was suddenly confronted. The assailants inflicted a severe injury, breaking his nose before forcibly placing him inside the van. They then proceeded to subject him to further violence, including administering tear gas and attempting to compel him to consume sedative substances.

Remarkably, the Canadian managed to expel these substances. Fortunately, observant eyewitnesses promptly alerted the authorities, who swiftly located the perpetrators’ van. The attackers scattered upon seeing police officers in blue uniforms.

The investigation is ongoing.
