Nevertheless, loud supporters are turning their backs on him now: “That’s evil, stop him”

President Donald Trump issued a stark warning of complete societal collapse if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz by its self-imposed deadline. The statement, made shortly before the deadline, asserted that the entire civilization would be destroyed and would never return. The declaration has drawn widespread condemnation from international leaders.

Politicians globally have expressed serious concerns regarding Trump’s language. Volker Türk, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, has specifically labeled attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure as war crimes. The United States government has also voiced its outrage.

In recent days, a significant number of Democratic lawmakers have demanded Trump’s removal from office, citing what they describe as a transgression of established boundaries. Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former Republican congresswoman and previously a close associate of Trump, has advocated for the implementation of the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

The 25th Amendment allows for the removal of a president who is unable to discharge the powers and duties of their office.
