More Slovenian films also at the Pula Film Festival

The Pula Film Festival is scheduled to take place from July 9th to the 16th, operating under the theme “Space in us.” Festival organizers have indicated that the selected films will address contemporary issues, focusing on topics such as the current state of tourism and real estate, alongside narratives featuring ordinary individuals. The competition program for this year will showcase eleven films. This selection includes nine feature-length films with actors, one documentary, and one animated feature.

Notable titles in the program include The Crystal Planet by Arsen Ostojić, Beautiful Evening, Beautiful Day by Ivana Juk, Sitni lopovi by Matej Ugrin, Women, Outlaws and a Little Good Pedlars by Igor Salaja, and Ohcet. The festival will also feature several coproductions involving Slovenian minorities. Among the highlighted presentations is Hana Jušić’s The Unhelpful God, the youth drama Second Diary by Pauline P., and the film Bučko, directed by Marina An (noting two mentions of this title).

These diverse films are set to form the core of the festival’s cinematic offerings. The Pula Film Festival continues its tradition of presenting a varied spectrum of cinematic works to the public.
