A new residential development has been completed at the intersection of Litija and Pesnica roads, marking the conclusion of a significant construction project. The housing estate, designed by Nava, commenced work in July 2024 and was executed by the company Strabag. The development is designed to provide comprehensive living solutions, featuring 95 public rental apartments alongside two dedicated residential communities for the elderly.
In addition to residential units, the estate incorporates two commercial business premises, a dedicated common area intended for resident socialization, and underground parking spanning two floors. At the opening ceremony, Peter Lovšin, State Secretary at the Ministry of the Environment and the Territory, emphasized the broader implications of the project. He stated that the completion serves as tangible proof of the capacity to generate quality living solutions through robust collaboration among the state, local community groups, public housing funds, and the private economy.
According to Lovšin, the addition of this new housing complex represents a substantial asset for the city of Ljubljana. The project underscores a model of integrated urban development, merging necessary public infrastructure with modern residential amenities to enhance the local area’s capacity and quality of life.
