Belgrade Pub Shooting Results in Fatalities

A shooting incident in Belgrade, Serbia, on Monday resulted in two fatalities and prompted a widespread investigation. The event occurred at a pub in Kumodraž, a settlement within the Voždovac municipality. At approximately 12:00 local time, 44-year-old Darko Vesković, known as “Prika,” shot 40-year-old Vuk Musić and another individual who was present at the establishment.

Security camera footage reveals that Vesković approached the bar and greeted a visitor, shaking hands with him. Following this interaction, Vesković turned and shot the visitor in the head. After the initial victim fell, Vesković continued firing, striking Musić who was seated at the same table.

Authorities have identified Vesković as the who shot the individuals. The motive for the attack is currently under investigation. Witnesses reported that Vesković came to greet a visitor at the door before the incident unfolded.

Police are continuing to gather information and pursue leads regarding the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. No arrests have been made at this time.
