Boštjan Cesar expressed considerable optimism regarding the upcoming match, stating that it would be a highly beneficial opportunity. The chosen team has endured a recent slump, losing seven consecutive games and managing only three goals during this period. “I would be the happiest if we had all healthy players and started scoring every game,” Cesar affirmed, underlining his desire for a more productive offensive approach.

He emphasized a need for increased aggression, particularly in light of Montenegro’s tendency to receive numerous yellow cards in friendly matches. “We will have to be even more aggressive, as the people of Montenegro also get a lot of cards in friendly matches, so we have to respond with at least the same level,” Cesar explained. The team’s overall health is good, with only minor issues present, and all players will be available for selection.

Cesar intends to implement some tactical adjustments compared to the previous game against Hungary. He plans to slightly alter the team’s composition. Furthermore, considering Montenegro’s significant market value advantage regarding Atalante’s attacker Nikola Krstović (25 million euros), Cesar acknowledged the importance of a strong performance.

Naturally, the focus remains on securing a victory against Montenegro.
