In his speech at the Sunday meeting of NSi members and sympathizers in Šentrupert, President of NSi Jernej Vrtovec responded to information that the indictment against three prominent NSi members, which was filed by the Specialized State Prosecutor for suspicion of abuse of office in the DZ Commission for the Supervision of Intelligence and Security Services (Knovs), had passed the formal and material test in court. Vrtovec: In the case of Knovs, MPs have been fulfilling their legal duty In Vrtovec’s opinion, the filing of the indictment “was for an artificially created scandal, a construct”, MPs have therefore been subjected to discreditations, accusations and proceedings because they have been fulfilling their duties. “But responsibility will be taken by those – and it will be soon – who have orchestrated this construct, and we will also strive to do so within the framework of the new law.
