The government has abolished the ban on the export of weapons to Israel

The government of Janez Janša adopted a decision at its second regular session to end the ban on the export and transit of military weapons and equipment from or through Slovenia to Israel and the import of weapons from Israel into Slovenia. Please also read Slovenia banned the import, export and transit of weapons to and from Israel As they explained, the decision of the previous government is unnecessary according to the Ministry of Defense, as the traffic with weapons is already regulated by legal and regulatory acts. Slovenia is also bound by the common position of the EU Council, which defines common rules regarding the control of the export of military technology and equipment.

This determines that the member states must verify the compliance with international obligations (e.g. embargo), the respect of human rights in the recipient country, the internal situation in the country (e.g. conflicts), and regional stability.
