On June 12th last year, shortly after take-off, the Dreamliner of Indian airline Air India suddenly crashed and burned. The accident claimed 260 lives on the plane and on the ground, and only one out of 241 passengers and crew survived. Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, to everyone’s surprise, was injured, shaken, but alive, immediately appearing from the wreckage.
“When I got up, there were bodies around me. I was terrified. I got up and started running.
All around me were pieces of the plane. Someone grabbed me and put me in the rescue vehicle and took me to the hospital,” he described his traumatic experience in one of the first statements. Ramesh lost his life in the accident.
