As emphasized in a press release following a meeting with representatives of non-governmental organizations, today a very constructive meeting was held. “My first message to representatives of agricultural non-governmental organizations is that we will be partners, that I will lead a constant and high-quality dialogue, and that I also expect them to be demanding and tireless, because together we fight for the interests of the Slovenian first farmer, food processors, agro-food companies, and, last but not least, consumers,” he said. Among the first concrete measures, the new Minister of Agriculture pointed out today’s withdrawal of the new Slovenian food guidelines for 2025 from the government’s website.
