Construction Worker Claims Unpaid Wages from Progros d.o.o. Irfan Vuković began employment with Progros d.o.o., a construction company owned by the Mijić family, at the end of 2024. Initial reports indicate a period of regular payments, but difficulties emerged for Mr.
Vuković starting in early 2024. Since that time, he has consistently received reduced monthly payments, totaling approximately several hundred euros. Mr.
Vuković is currently owed nearly 3,000 euros, including outstanding back pay. He is not alone in his claim; several colleagues have also reported unpaid wages. According to Vuković, other employees are owed sums ranging from 1,000 to 4,000 euros.
A collective assessment of the debts among approximately twelve employees suggests a total outstanding amount of around 20,000 euros. “We owe him a lot, maybe even more than that,” Vuković stated. The situation centers around the company’s financial difficulties, which appear to have impacted the ability to fulfill wage obligations.
Investigations into the outstanding payments are ongoing. —
