The once popular spa is now the target of criticism: dirt, crowding and unpleasant odors

The once popular tourist attraction in our neighboring region is currently experiencing a significant surge of criticism. Visitors are reporting a concerning accumulation of issues, including uncleanliness, excessive crowding, and a noticeable unpleasant odor, all of which they believe detract significantly from the overall experience. net.hr reports this developing situation.

The complex, constructed in 1913, was renowned for its distinctive yellow neobaroque facades and inviting hot thermal pools. Its popularity has grown considerably, though not always in a manner that aligns with visitor expectations. “Nothing was as it was in the photos” stated British visitor Melika, expressing her disappointment on TikTok.

She described the spa as a “complete waste of money,” highlighting the stark contrast between the idyllic images frequently seen on Instagram and the reality of the location. Further compounding her dissatisfaction, Melika recounted an uncomfortable interaction while purchasing a shawl, noting that a saleswoman inappropriately guessed her fashion number in front of her. “It completely ruined my day,” she added.

This feedback reflects a growing concern about the current state of the well-established spa.
