Identification Process Completed in Inđija Case
The Institute of Forensic Medicine submitted the identification minutes pertaining to the remains discovered in a container located in Inđija, approximately 60 kilometers north of Belgrade, to the state prosecutor’s office on Tuesday. The submission follows DNA analysis confirming the remains belonged to a man reported missing on May 13th. The investigation, currently focused on determining the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the remains found in the container, is ongoing and encompasses multiple suspects.
Among those under scrutiny is Milić, who was previously removed from his role as chief of the police in Belgrade following his arrest. Prosecutors suspect Milić of involvement in concealing information related to the case. Investigators at the mortuary in Senjak, where the remains were initially located, recovered two nine-millimeter bullets and traces of blood.
The prosecutor’s office continues to explore all potential connections and evidence related to the case, which is being treated as a suspected murder. Further investigation is underway to establish a complete timeline and identify all individuals involved.
