Allow cookies. The racers had some concerns about the choice of tires, as the track was slightly wet just before the start of the race. Most racers chose dry-surface tires, while McLaren’s Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri started the race on intermediate or “intermediate” versions for light rain.
Norris led after the start, but the choice of tires quickly proved to be wrong, and both he and Piastri had to pull into the pits in the first laps.
