As reported by the Serbian Tanjug news agency, the body was found in the Inđija municipality in Srem. According to the order of the higher public prosecutor in Belgrade, the body will be sent for autopsy to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, as well as for DNA analysis. The police carried out several arrests that shook the Serbian public. So far, 10 suspects have been arrested, including three police officers who are suspected of helping the perpetrators and not reporting the event.
Among the arrested was the head of the police administration.
