Kokot, leader of the Truth Party, addressed a motion for the protection of the integrity of MPs to the President of the National Assembly on Tuesday. In the motion, she stated that attempts had been made to influence the party’s MPs Nedeljko Todorovic, Aleksandar Stoker and Boris Miic. They were offered financial benefits, six-figure numbers, in connection with their decision and parliamentary work.
Who would try to influence them – it was also said that some state companies were involved – she did not reveal, but the offers were said to be coming from the left political pole. Stevanovic: If anyone, it was the Police, the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, and some legal experts warned in media responses that MPs are obliged to report suspicions of corruption.
