Trump Announces End to Iran War Following Signed Agreement

Washington – President Donald Trump announced Monday the formal end to the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, following the signing of a comprehensive agreement. Vice President JD Vance accompanied Trump in signing the document electronically. The agreement marks the cessation of hostilities initiated with attacks on February 28th.

The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday at the Palace of Versailles, a location chosen to symbolically connect the agreement to the 1919 peace treaty concluded after World War I. The protracted war has resulted in significant casualties. Reports indicate over 3,000 deaths in Iran, with 26 fatalities in Israel.

Thousands more have sustained injuries across both nations, including 13 members of the American military. The conflict has extended beyond the immediate region, with over 1,000 deaths reported in Lebanon due to the fighting. Simultaneously, Israel and Hezbollah have reached a ceasefire agreement.

President Trump’s administration facilitated the agreement, representing a significant shift in regional relations. The details of the agreement remain under wraps, but the signing represents a formal conclusion to the extensive military operations.
