Young people are leaning more and more to the right

Across Mediani voter segments, distinct preferences emerged based on age. When examining younger voters, aged 18 to 24, the SDS party garnered the most support, reaching approximately one quarter of all voters within this demographic. Following closely were the Freedom Movement and the New Slovenia party coalition.

The Social Democrats achieved the lowest success rate among young voters, persuading only 4 percent of this group. Amongst the youngest working-age individuals, those aged 25 to 44, the SDS party also proved most persuasive, securing 25.6 percent of the voters. A shift occurred with older workers, aged 45 to 64, where the Freedom Party gained the greatest appeal, attracting 30 percent of the voters.

Conversely, the Re party was the least convincing to this older voter group. These results highlight significant differences in political attitudes and choices among different age groups of voters.
