Jorge Martin arrived in Catalonia accompanied by a rider who achieved notable success at the French Grand Prix in Le Mans, where the companion secured two race victories. This accompanying rider has since advanced to overtake the current leader in the overall standings, Marc Bezzecchi. Martin was met with considerable fanfare upon his arrival in the Barcelona area, and he also entertained the crowd by performing dance moves reminiscent of Michael Jackson.
The Spanish audience also expressed interest in Marc Marquez, who was unable to attend the Catalan Grand Prix. Marquez’s participation was limited to a video link because he is currently undergoing recovery from two separate surgical procedures.
