The Slovenian ski jumping team will field eight athletes in the Thursday qualifying round. Team leadership has finalized the roster, including the inaugural seasonal champion, Domna Prevc. Alongside her, Anže Lanišek, Timi Zajc, Rok Oblak, Žak Mogel, Žiga Jelar (returning from injury), Rok Masle, and Žiga Jančar will also compete.
Only the top fifteen ski jumpers from the world cup are granted participation in the final event of the season. This selection prioritizes the strongest Slovenian athletes, such as the recent big crystal globe triple winner, Nika Prevc, and Nika Vodan. Team leader Gorazd Pogorelčnik explained that Slovenia secured an additional quota spot for the Sunday competition.
This allows a fourth athlete, beyond those ranking within the top thirty of the season’s overall world ski standings, to take their place in the concluding event.
