Multiple Incidents of Domestic Violence Reported in Kranj and Nova Gorica
Recent police reports from the Kranj and Nova Gorica Police Departments detail multiple incidents of domestic violence occurring between August 2025 and March 2026. The reports document three separate cases involving alleged perpetrators and their former partners. In one instance, a 46-year-old man physically assaulted his former partner and their children.
Separately, a 39-year-old man was involved in an act of violence directed towards his partner. A third incident involved a man who engaged in violent behavior towards his partner following the termination of their relationship. Following the initial violent act, the individual continued to harass his former partner through repeated actions.
In all three cases, police officers issued protective orders, prohibiting the alleged perpetrators from contacting their respective partners. These incidents highlight ongoing concerns regarding domestic violence within the Kranj and Nova Gorica regions. The police departments are continuing to investigate these reported incidents and maintain a presence to ensure the safety of individuals involved.
