Staff Visit Provides Support to Families Through Anita Ogulin Association
On Wednesday, members of the Anita Ogulin Association and the PMS conducted a home visit as part of their ongoing support for the “Veriga dobrih ljudi” program. The visit involved communication with staff members and interaction with families within the community. The work often includes meeting with families in their homes, a practice not uncommon for the association.
However, each interaction evokes a sense of responsibility for Tea Dorić, a staff member, who describes a feeling akin to presenting a school project. Dorić highlighted the significant trust placed in the association by families who share their personal stories. This trust is coupled with an understanding of the families’ circumstances.
During the visit, the team collaborated with five mothers and their partners, including the renewal of floorboards as a supportive measure. The experience, according to Dorić, is balanced by the opportunity to offer assistance and provide a brief respite to those families receiving support. The association continues its efforts to provide resources and aid to individuals within the community.
