In the coming nights, more sections of the Styrian motorway will be completely closed

A1 Motorway Closure Scheduled in Slovenian Region

Slovenj Gradec – Sections of the A1 motorway in Slovenia will be closed to traffic starting tonight and continuing until Wednesday at 4:30, impacting travel between Vransko and Šentrupert in the direction of Maribor. The closure is due to ongoing upgrades to the traffic control and management system, alongside routine maintenance work. The Vransko junction will also be closed to inbound traffic on the A1 motorway traveling towards Maribor.

Motorists are advised to utilize a temporary bypass route along the parallel regional road. This information was released by Dars, the Slovenian motorway operator. Additionally, a separate closure will occur tonight and Wednesday at 10:00, affecting the Vransko – Dramlje section of the motorway.

This closure is a result of adjustments to the temporary traffic arrangement as part of the larger, ongoing reconstruction project. Traffic will be diverted via the established bypass. The Slovenian authorities are urging drivers to plan alternative routes and allow for potential delays during this period.

The motorway closures are necessary to ensure the continued progress of vital infrastructure improvements.
