Problems with fuel delivery, Shell: Sales increased by two-thirds

Petrol has highlighted logistical difficulties in delivering fuel to individual sales locations, primarily due to restricted tanker capacity. The company assures consumers that the fuel supply to the market remains consistently stable, and all supply sources are secure. There are no recorded systemic disruptions affecting the storage facilities.

They emphasize that increased demand is largely driven by variations in regional fuel prices. These price differences originate from the current 14-day pricing methodology, which is proving problematic. “This model, particularly in periods of high volatility, creates imbalances within the market and places further strain on the sales network,” they stated.

Petrol is actively managing the situation by implementing immediate deliveries and adjusting logistical operations. They anticipate a gradual stabilization of the supply. However, they caution that this stabilization may be prolonged if underlying conditions do not improve.

The company’s focus remains on ensuring a continuous fuel supply to meet consumer needs.
