During the chaotic moments following the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, mentalist Oz Pearlman reported a direct encounter with President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt. Pearlman recounted the experience to the BBC, stating he was approximately one meter from President Trump when the incident occurred. He described being struck to the ground by Secret Service agents, noting the action was “efficient but quite brutally.”
“We were lying on the ground and looking into each other’s eyes while I heard the gunshots and thought: ‘Now we’re going to die’,” Pearlman stated.
