Marijuana Incident Reported at Traditional Kamnik Golaž Cook-Off
Kamnik, Slovenia – A traditional golaž cook-off event in Kamnik on Saturday morning took a dramatic turn when a culinary team allegedly distributed cookies containing marijuana. Approximately 800 obiskovalcev were in attendance at the event organized by Slovenia Eco Resort when the incident occurred. According to event organizer Matjaž Zorman, one team was found to have provided cookies laced with the drug.
Several individuals consumed the cookies without knowledge of their contents, leading to a subsequent wave of adverse reactions. Initial concerns centered around potential carbon monoxide zastrupitev, prompting a swift response from emergency services who arrived on the scene equipped with protective gear and conducted measurements. These measurements revealed no evidence of poisoning.
Further testing subsequently identified that the affected individuals had elevated levels of THC, the psychoactive component of marijuana, indicating they had consumed the contaminated cookies. Two attendees were affected. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Nekaj individuals reported feeling unwell following consumption. The event was immediately halted, and organizers are cooperating with law enforcement.
