Uefa President Visits North Macedonia to Discuss Football Developments
Aleksander Čeferin, President of Uefa, is currently undertaking a formal visit to North Macedonia at the invitation of the President of the Football Federation of North Macedonia (FFM), Masar Omeragić. The visit underscores Uefa’s ongoing engagement with national football associations across Europe. Accompanying Mr.
Čeferin is a Uefa delegation including Zoran Laković, director of the national federations department, and Denis Bastari, head of the national federations development department. The purpose of the visit is to foster collaboration and discuss strategic developments within Macedonian football. During the visit, Mr.
Čeferin held meetings at the highest levels of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia. These discussions were attended by Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski and Minister of Sport, Borko Ristovski. A subsequent working session took place at the House of the Footballer.
The meetings focused on strengthening the football landscape in macedonia and exploring potential partnerships between Uefa and the FFM.
