Olimpija Ties Pustertal in Semifinal Clash

Olimpija secured a tie against Pustertal in their semifinal hockey match, continuing their fight to advance to the next round. The Ljubljana-based team faced a significant deficit, trailing 0:3 in the series after the first three games against the visiting team. Olimpija broke the shutout in the first home game, taking a lead, but ultimately succumbed to a new deficit.

The match went into overtime, where a goal by Nik Simič in the 80th minute resulted in a 4-4 draw. With the score at 2-3 in favor of Pustertal after four games, Olimpija requires a victory today to remain competitive. The series will continue with a sixth game scheduled in Ljubljana on April 9th, with a potential seventh game in Brunic on April 12th, should the outcome remain undecided.

Meanwhile, Gradec has secured their place in the final after a dominant 4-0 victory over Fehervar. Gradec will face Olimpija in the final series.
