Two additional members, Curtis Angst, aged 30, and Tyler Simmons, 28, both from Ohio, completed the group. According to BBC reports, the initial three individuals were active members of the US Air Force, while the remaining three served within the National Guard. US Defense Minister Pete Hegseth immediately honored the crew as “American heroes.” The incident occurred on Thursday at approximately 2 p.m.
Eastern time. The US Central Command subsequently announced that two older aircraft were involved in the same event. One of the aircraft crashed, and the other also suffered a crash.
