Following discussions, parties including Social Democrats (SD), Left Wing (Levica), Vesna, New Slovenia (NSi), and the Anže Logar Democratic Party have outlined a framework for a potential government of national unity. According to a public statement, the proposed structure stems from a shared respect for the parties’ existing program priorities. The group has identified ten key areas of agreement, which they believe can form the basis of a development-focused and stable coalition.
Current efforts are concentrated on locating these shared priorities, representing a common ground for collaboration. The concept of a “government of national unity,” as described by the Slovenian Green Party (GS), is directly linked to these core program points and a vision for a more efficient and operational state. This includes a planned streamlining of ministries to improve transparency and coordination.
The goal is to enhance government effectiveness through greater oversight and operational clarity.
