“Through diligent and synchronized efforts of police agencies and various units across the nation, the police were able to identify the perpetrators of these criminal acts,” stated the Police Department (PU) Nova Gorica. They further announced the completion of a lengthy criminal investigation concerning offenses on the Sežana-Jesenice railway line. This multi-year investigation, spanning the jurisdictions of the PU Nova Gorica, Kranj, and Koper, focused on incidents occurring within those areas.
The police’s coordinated approach allowed them to bring the case to a close. The investigation definitively identified and arrested those responsible for damaging the railway.
