Porčič wants to inspire young people with his return

Experienced Slovenian mixed martial artist Jivko Stoimenov is preparing for his first-ever cage fight, expressing excitement and anticipation for the challenge. Stoimenov, who hasn’t competed in a ring or cage for approximately six to seven years, stated, “It’s a great day. I’m really excited.”

This fight marks a significant shift for Stoimenov, representing his debut in a mixed martial arts cage.

Consequently, his training regimen has been adjusted to accommodate the unique environment. “The cage is larger than a ring,” he explained. “I need to be careful on the mesh.

I’ll try to stay as central as possible.”

Despite the change in venue, Stoimenov remains confident. He referenced his previous experience on the television show “Zvezde plešejo” (Dancing Stars), where he initially struggled with dancing but ultimately reached the finals. “I wasn’t able to dance when I was on ‘Zvezde plešejo,’ but in the end, I made it to the final.” Stoimenov is focused on executing his skills and approaching the fight with a measured and strategic approach.
