A fire occurred in difficult-to-access terrain at an altitude of 1,600 meters. According to the evening news report from the Gasilska zveza Bovec, extinguishing the blaze required significant logistical efforts. Firefighters had to transport nearly a kilometer of hoses to the incident site.

Water was supplied via a high-pressure pump positioned 170 meters above sea level. The fire, measuring approximately 100 meters by 50 meters, was successfully contained and extinguished. The response involved a coordinated effort spanning four hours.

Personnel from PGD Bovec, PGD Log pod Mangartom, and PGD Srpenica participated in the intervention. Additionally, two firefighters from PGD Bovec joined the team at the fire site. The operation took place on the slope of Planina Gasilska zveza Bovec.

The deployment of resources across various levels, including the pumping station 170 meters below the fire site, highlights the challenging nature of the fire response. The successful containment underscores the efforts of the participating units in managing the remote fire.
