Municipal police conducted an investigation on Monday morning following a collision that resulted in injuries in Kranj. According to Boštjan Repinc, a representative from the Kranj Police Department, the incident occurred around 9:30 AM when a 46-year-old truck driver reportedly failed to see a pedestrian while maneuvering the vehicle in reverse. The truck subsequently struck the pedestrian, impacting him against a metal column.
Repinc stated that the accident took place on a section of road characterized by narrow passage and reduced visibility, which was compounded by intense sun glare reflected in the truck’s rearview mirror. Following the impact, medical personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene. They provided necessary aid to the injured pedestrian, who was subsequently transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation and treatment.
The police department is currently in the process of collecting detailed reports pertaining to the traffic accident.
