Vunjak spoke about the culinary side, observing that the tradition of hosting meals at fire stations has expanded significantly. He pointed out the variety of offerings, mentioning that some locations serve burgers and goulash, while others offer regional specialties, such as lobster and pancakes in Sečovlje, or traditional dishes in Prekmurje. These celebrations, according to the accounts, are characterized by specific traditions, such as the presence of Golica, and a general atmosphere of communal celebration.
The necessary coordination and the shared enjoyment of local cuisine are what make these community events significant, transforming simple gatherings into multifaceted cultural experiences.
