Celje Handball secured a dominant victory over the Romanian team last Saturday, winning with a nine-goal lead (41:32) in Zlatorog. This victory marks Celje’s first appearance in the semifinal since 1999, a period of 21 years.
Coach Klemen Luzar emphasized the team’s intention to not solely rely on the current scoreline. “Nine goals is a significant advantage,” Luzar stated, “but it’s not insurmountable.
