In Croatia, she stole umbrellas and sunbeds, and now she cannot enter the EU for a year

Croatian police officers carried out a criminal investigation against a 38-year-old Serbian citizen for the suspicion of theft. The woman is suspected of having entered the yard of a 59-year-old man’s house on Sunday, July 12, around 2 p.m. in Sveti Petar, where she stole one umbrella and three deckchairs, the Zadar Police website wrote.

Croatian police arrested the 38-year-old on Wednesday, July 15, at the Sukošan area. During the criminal investigation, they found the stolen items, seized them and will return them to the owner. For the crime of theft, the 38-year-old will be prosecuted by the competent state prosecutor in Zadar.

According to the provisions of the Aliens Act, the competent authorities have also issued an order for the 38-year-old foreign citizen to be prosecuted by the competent state prosecutor in Zadar.
