Famous Slovenian women have collected 1,700 euros with the baking of pancakes

A Culinary Promenade was held yesterday on Trg prekomorskih brigad in Portorož, drawing an attendance exceeding four thousand visitors. The event provided attendees with a diverse combination of culinary offerings, live music, and social gathering opportunities, all centered around a charitable cause. The proceeds generated from the gathering amounted to 1,700 euros, which were donated to the Junaki 3rd floor association to support children battling cancer and their families.

A central feature of the evening’s charity efforts was a pancake baking session. The activity saw participation from several famous personalities, including members of Piran’s Roda, Sergej Mašera, and Anbot Piran’s. The pancake preparation featured contributions from Zala Djurić, television presenter Tara Zupančič, and MasterChef Slovenia winner Sara Rutar.

The event highlighted the culinary expertise present, with an experienced MasterChef taking the first turn at the stove. During the preparation, one of the culinary experts noted, “I work with gas in my pan, which I know.”

Overall, the Promenade successfully blended community enjoyment with philanthropic action. The significant amount of 1,700 euros raised underscores the community’s commitment to supporting the association.
