Lizard before FNC 29: I will fight at home, I am happy and overconfident

Bojan Kos will face off against Dušan Jakić, a Serbian fighter, in a significant fight on home soil. This will be their third mutual encounter, marking the first time they have competed against each other in nearly ten years. Previously, Jakić had secured victories in the first and second bouts.

However, Kos reversed the trend in the third fight. “The initial two fights were remarkably similar,” Kos stated. “I feel I’ve improved since then, but I acknowledge he’s also grown stronger.

We’re both determined to demonstrate a considerable amount of heart, as this fight represents the culmination of our efforts.”

Kos emphasized that the agreed-upon weight category of 73 kilograms is particularly well-suited for both competitors. “We anticipate delivering a performance exceeding that of the first two fights.”

Fighting in front of a supportive home audience is a crucial factor for Kos. “The first fight took place in Zagreb, and the Croatian audience overwhelmingly favored the Slovenian fighter over the Serbian one.

The second bout occurred in Trieste, and now we will compete in Ljubljana.”
