In his initial response to the allegations, he stated he had never engaged in violent behavior, asserting he “reacted inappropriately during a challenging circumstance.” Media reports indicated that this situation led to his resignation from his role as a member of parliament.
The Slovenian parliament was notified of his resignation in October of the previous year, effectively ending his parliamentary mandate. The prosecutor’s decision effectively rejected the complaint against Prednika, stemming from the accusations. This dismissal followed Prednika’s initial complaint against his former partner.
