Šeško and Suljić finished in Wimbledon

Slovenian player Žiga Šeško was defeated in his singles match by the 323rd ranked world junior, Oliver Page. During the contest, Šeško managed to secure the break in the first set and gained a decisive advantage in the fifth game, though he ultimately lost to the world junior. Šeško, who previously reached the quarterfinals on grass last year and won the Australian Open this year, remains active in the doubles competition.

There, he is paired with Brazilian player Guto Miguel, and the pair is currently the holders. Their next challenge is the doubles quarterfinal, scheduled for Wednesday. In other individual tournaments, Svit Suljić, the 58th world junior, also exited the competition.

Suljić had previously competed in the prestigious junior tournament at Roehampton, where he reached the final. Following that, he participated at Wimbledon, where he was defeated by American Tanishk Konduri. The tournament continues to feature strong performances across the ranks of the world circuit.

The results confirm the competitive depth at the junior level, with players consistently vying for top rankings. Šeško’s continued participation in the doubles draw keeps him engaged in the latter stages of the event, while the other athletes continue to compete at high levels against international opposition.
