In Zagreb, vehicles from the protected column of Plenković collided

A collision occurred involving the Prime Minister’s vehicle while the leader was returning from a session of the government held at the National and University Library (NSU). According to Marko Milić, the government’s press representative, no injuries were reported among the passengers. Milić confirmed that the incident involved only the relevant vehicles, with no other automobiles or pedestrians present at the scene.

Police authorities have launched an investigation at the site of the accident to ascertain the precise circumstances leading to the collision. The Prime Minister was traveling in a specialized Audi A8 L security vehicle, which is utilized by the Croatian Ministry of the Interior for transporting high-ranking state representatives and other protected persons. The security vehicle itself is noted for its robust construction.

Due to integrated protective measures, including heavy steel plating, multi-layered bulletproof glass, and systems designed to guard against explosions and chemical attacks, the vehicle has a substantial weight, approaching four tons. The incident underscores the high level of security detail accompanying senior government officials. Authorities continue to examine the scene to determine the sequence of events surrounding the impact.
