According to figures from the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, the total amount paid out to employees by employers last year reached 1.46 billion euros, marking a 6.4 percent increase compared to the previous year. In terms of specific industry payouts, the insurance, banking, and pharmaceutical sectors reported the highest bonuses for their employees.
For instance, employees at Triglav Insurance received a gross bonus of 3,000 euros, while those at OTP Bank received 2,830 euros gross. Other notable payouts included allocations for leave, where employees of Telekom Slovenije and Generali received approximately 2,790 euros net, and Slovenske železnice paid 2,630 euros.
