To calm him down, the guardian gave him a cold shower. CUDV introduced internal control

According to the mother of the minor, the incident occurred last week at the Center for Training, Work and Care (CUDV). She reported that her teenage son, who has severe mental development challenges, stripped off his clothing and exposed himself to staff and other residents at the facility. When the child reportedly refused to dress despite repeated requests, the mother stated that the guardian administered a cold shower to her, with assistance from a colleague.

The director of the CUDV confirmed that the facility was informed of the incident and that internal control measures have since been implemented. She affirmed that all actions taken will adhere to established regulations. The director announced that all employees involved in the matter have been temporarily excluded from operational duties until the situation is fully clarified.

Following the incident, disciplinary action was taken regarding the involved personnel. The guardian in question received a formal warning, was subsequently transferred to a different program within the facility, and was mandated to undergo specialized training in non-violent communication. Furthermore, the mother also received training in non-violent communication as a result of the events concerning him.

The center has emphasized its commitment to procedural adherence while managing the care and development of residents like him.
