Numatronic Returns to Koper, Bringing Major Electronic Music Acts
Koper, Slovenia, will once again host a prominent electronic music event as Numatronic returns at the beginning of July. The open-air festival, which debuted last year, is expected to draw a significant crowd and feature a lineup of internationally recognized techno artists. Over 3,000 visitors attended the inaugural edition of Numatronic, and this year’s event promises a similar scale of attendance.
Headlining performances will include French electronic music artist Space 92 and Italian DJ Marco Faraone, alongside a roster of established names within the electronic music scene. A key highlight of the festival will be a collaborative performance by DJ Umek, Shadow, and Marco Faraone. This will be the first year the trio will perform together, utilizing exclusively vinyl records and a shared mixing console.
The unique arrangement represents a novel approach, with the artists building their sets in real-time for the first time. Numatronic’s return underscores Koper’s growing reputation as a center for electronic music, offering fans a diverse range of performances throughout the year. The event is anticipated to be a major draw for electronic music enthusiasts.
