Celje Pivovarna Laško Re-enters Champions League Competition

Celje Pivovarna Laško has secured its return to the Champions League after a three-year absence. The Slovenian champions’ participation was confirmed following a decision by the administrative committee on November 11th. Ten teams – Barcelona, PSG, Magdeburg, Veszprém, Kolstad, Kielce, Sporting from Lisbon, Dinamo Bucharest, Aalborg, and Zagreb – had previously secured their places.

Celje Pivovarna Laško’s inclusion represents a notable return to European competition. The club’s participation will contribute to the increased competitiveness of the Champions League league. Further details regarding the group stage allocation will be announced by the organizing body.
