Large-Scale Search Underway Following Baby’s Disappearance in Germany
RENNINGEN, Germany – A significant search operation is currently being conducted in the German town of Renningen, located near Stuttgart, following the disappearance of a three-month-old baby. According to reports from Focus.de and Bild, the infant vanished from its stroller shortly before midnight on Thursday. Police were alerted when the baby was found unattended in the stroller at a supermarket parking lot.
An unidentified individual then reportedly took the child. Police spokesman Steffen Grabenstein stated that, at this time, there are no concrete leads. The search operation, involving approximately 40 specially trained dogs, commenced immediately at the scene.
Additionally, a helicopter and drones equipped with thermal cameras are being utilized to survey the surrounding area. Authorities acknowledge the possibility that the baby may have been moved from the initial location. “Of course, the child could have already been somewhere else,” Grabenstein noted.
The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as they become available. The focus remains on locating the missing baby and ensuring its safe return.
