Fed Horses with the single announced the album: We will cut into some topics with a sharpness

Fed Horses Preview Upcoming Album with “Plus Minus”

Fed Horses are preparing for the release of their second long-play album, and the band is signaling a shift in their musical approach. Their latest single, “Plus Minus,” leans heavily into a dance-oriented style, incorporating a more prominent use of synthesizers – a feature that’s actually been present in the band’s music since its inception. While the increased synth presence in “Plus Minus” represents a noticeable change, band members emphasize that it doesn’t signify a new era for Fed Horses.

The group has consistently utilized synthesizers throughout their history. However, the upcoming album will feature a more aggressive sound, alongside explorations into punk influences. This coincides with the punk music genre’s 50th anniversary.

Although not a dedicated punk album, the band intends to incorporate these influences into both the music and lyrical content. Fed Horses plan to address topics less frequently found in mainstream pop culture, alongside the band’s established tradition of introspective and sentimental songs. Fans can anticipate a diverse collection of tracks from the forthcoming album.

The album is slated for release soon, with photographer Vita Orehek capturing the band during the photoshoot.
