Progros Faces Potential Debt Settlement Following Carpentry Payment Dispute
Progros is reportedly facing a potential resolution to a significant debt following a payment dispute involving Slovenian company Gradbinca. According to information published by the Necenzurirano portal, Progros allegedly paid Gradbinca approximately €32,000 for carpentry work that was not formally billed. This sum is notably similar to the outstanding debt owed by the company to the Finance Ministry of the Republic of Slovenia (Furs).
The situation gained prominence after Boris Mijič, a representative from the Resnica party, alerted the public last week to an anticipated payment of over €30,000 to Progros. Mijič stated this payment would directly address the company’s debt to Furs. Progros secured the contract for the construction of the Dobrunje prison in June 2024.
To date, the company has received approximately €95,000 from CGP and slightly under €100,000 from Kolektor Koling. The disputed final contract value for the carpentry work aligns with the amounts received from both CGP and Kolektor Koling. The resolution of this debt involving Gradbinca and Furs remains a key development for the Progros company.
