The world’s largest video platform YouTube has officially confirmed a new record. Content creator Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has reached 500 million subscribers as the first to do so. At this special event, YouTube’s CEO Neal Mohan personally congratulated him, and the company also published a public congratulatory message on social networks.
“This achievement is proof of what can happen when a creator has the freedom to follow their own creativity and be their authentic self. Jimmy, you are a remarkable innovator, and we are very proud to be part of your journey,” he wrote in the post of their joint photo, in which they pose with a special award. Mohan also emphasized that this was a key moment for all digital content creators around the world.
MrBeast’s channel has become the most watched and followed individual channel in history.
